Day one.
Today we landed in Paris. Once we got through customs we were picked up by a car and driven to our hotel. We took off at 1 o'clock PM and we landed at 6 o'clock a.m. due to the time difference. Then we ate breakfast. Since we were all so tired and I felt queasy we took a nap.
Then we woke up and got sandwiches. I have philosophy when I feel queasy, the less I eat the less food I have to throw up. Then we met our tour guide and we set off; we went up the Eiffel tower and looked out at the 1st and 2nd floor. After that our guide waited in the long "queue" or "line" while we got popsicles. Once we got up to the top we looked out took some pictures and went back down. When we saw the highest hill in Paris with a church on top.
When we got back to the hotel we crossed the street and went to this fair. I liked this game where you shoot balloons with little metal pellets. I missed my first shot but I hit all three balloons in the next three shots. Then we did this obstacle course with a maze entirely made of windows my head still hurts from running into a wall.
Day two.
We woke up and had a nice hearty breakfast of crepes and molten chocolate in a cup. Then we went to the place Madame Curie is buried. After that we went to Notre Dame and saw the cathedral there.
Then we got sorbet and ice cream. After that we got lunch. Jasmine and I got a black champagne A.K.A coca-cola. Then we went to the Louvre. We saw the glass pyramids and the Mona Lisa.
The reason the Mona Lisa is famous is because it was stolen. We went on a scavenger hunt at the Louvre and we got the ultimate treasure: a book!!!!!!
Then we ate dinner and we are getting ready for bed. Tomorrow we take the train to Loire Valley for our first day of cycling! See you there.
Have a safe and wonderful adventure guys!

ReplyDeleteJacob,
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic account of your first two days! I love your queasy stomach philosophy; I'll have to remember that in my future travels. It sounds like you all are eating well though. Good luck to all of you on the cycling part! Maybe you guys can convince Jasmine to pedal a bit to help out your father? ;-)
