Last Training Day by Jacob Adolphe

Today was our last day of torture, I mean training before our trip to France. We biked through 12 miles of danger. We were almost splattered by someone trying to pass in front of us while trying to dodge another group of bikers. So naturally he fell, and then hit this lady's back wheel. The worst part was he wasn't wearing a helmet so when he got up he had this massive bruise on his head. Just kidding, he got up and cursed for a while and rode on. Then right at the exit Quentin missed a turn and almost hit a tree then I slamed into him.

Quentin has been the cause for most of my near death experiences. For instance, in Florida he stopped in the middle of the trail ,and I swerved to dodge him but I almost fell in to this lake. Thank goodness for that tree that broke my fall.

Back onto France we will be staying two days in Paris before we start biking in the Loire Valley

Wish us luck!

  1. Jacob,
Your latest entry is hysterical! You're quite the budding blogger; I can't wait to read more about your adventures in France!
Eat some delicious pastries over there for me.
Safe travels to all of you...watch out for trees and Quentin!
    :-)
