At the Airport by Eric Adolphe

Well today is the big day, so far so good.  Just one minor meltdown in the car, but swift action was used to quell the insurrection.  Everyone is excited and are bright eyed. All the kids talk about right now is what they are going to do on the airplane.  At checkout, I asked the gate agent if I could sit in a different seat, away from everyone.  She laughed...    I was serious.

What has been really amazing about this entire trip so far is how close I feel that Jazz and I have become.  We have tandem bikes and had to work as a team to train.  We are a team.  We have to know what the other is doing at all times.  We have to pedal in unison.  Today I asked her what she was looking forward to the most and she said "you pulling me on the bike."  I know exactly what she was trying to say - she was looking forward to us working together as a team again.

This is what I will never forget... I think Jazz too.
